After a sluggish start, down 2-5 in the first set to Ethan Elsroth but Lyons roared back to win 7-5 in a first set tiebreaker and then breezed to a 6-0 win in the second set.
The doubles were the next two matches off the court. Marion made some lineup changes that boosted the strength of their doubles teams.
