Lapel Bulldogs Varsity Takes The Win Over Pendleton Heights

Lapel Bulldogs Varsity beat Pendleton Heights 5-4 on Tuesday.

After Pendleton Heights scored one run in the top of the fifth, Lapel Bulldogs Varsity answered with one of their own. Pendleton Heights scored when a sacrifice bunt by Gage Campbell scored one run for Pendleton Heights. Lapel Bulldogs Varsity then answered when Colton Shirley tripled on a 0-1 count, scoring one run.

Lapel Bulldogs Varsity pulled away for good with four runs in the fourth inning. In the fourth Justin Engle singled on a 0-1 count, scoring one run and Satchell Wilson singled on the first pitch of the at bat, scoring one run.

Thunder Davis earned the win for Lapel Bulldogs Varsity. He went three and two-thirds innings, allowing two runs on three hits, striking out four and walking zero. Devan Frank threw one-third of an inning in relief out of the bullpen. Frank recorded the last out to earn the save for Lapel Bulldogs Varsity.
