Lapel Bulldogs Varsity Loses Lead Early In Defeat
Lapel Bulldogs Varsity watched the game slip away early and couldn’t recover in a 3-1 loss to Alexandria-Monroe on Friday. Alexandria-Monroe took the lead on a single in the second inning.
The pitching was strong on both sides. Alexandria-Monroe pitchers struck out 11, while Lapel Bulldogs Varsity sat down six.
In the second inning, Alexandria-Monroe got their offense started when Rylan Metz singled on a 1-1 count, scoring one run.
