Lapel Bulldogs Varsity fell behind early and couldn’t come back in an 11-1 loss to Noblesville on Tuesday. Noblesville scored on a walk by Adoms and a grand slam by Bloss in the first inning.
The Lapel Bulldogs Varsity struggled to contain the high-powered offense of Noblesville, giving up 11 runs.
Noblesville opened up scoring in the first inning, when Adoms drew a walk, scoring one run.
Decker earned the win for Noblesville. The fireballer allowed five hits and one run over five innings, striking out six and walking one.
Brock Harper took the loss for Lapel Bulldogs Varsity. The lefty went three innings, allowing eight runs on three hits and striking out five.
Brennan Stow went 2-for-2 at the plate to lead Lapel Bulldogs Varsity in hits. Lapel Bulldogs Varsity didn’t commit a single error in the field. Parker Allman had the most chances in the field with seven.
Adams led Noblesville with two hits in two at bats.
