Lapel Bulldogs JV watched the game slip away early and couldn’t recover in a 12-1 loss to Pendleton Heights on Wednesday. Pendleton Heights scored on a walk by Mollenkopf and a double by Donati in the first inning.

Pendleton Heights got on the board in the first inning. Mollenkopf drew a walk, scoring one run.

Pendleton Heights scored eight runs in the third inning. Pendleton Heights’s big inning was driven by walks by Mollenkopf and Robbins, a single by Weaver, a sac fly by Donati, a groundout by McClure, and an error on a ball put in play by Elijah.

Hawk pitched Pendleton Heights to victory. He surrendered one run on five hits over three innings, striking out four. Casas threw two innings in relief out of the bullpen.

Brennan Stow took the loss for Lapel Bulldogs JV. He allowed two hits and eight runs over two and a third innings, striking out two.
