Lapel Bulldogs Varsity defeated Anderson 11-0 on Thursday as two pitchers combined to throw a shutout. Thunder Davis struck out Brooks to finish off the game.

Justin Engle led Lapel Bulldogs Varsity to victory by driving in four runs. He went 3-for-3 at the plate. Engle drove in runs on a home run in the first and a single in the fourth.

Lapel Bulldogs Varsity fired up the offense in the first inning, when David Rebenack singled on a 1-2 count, scoring one run.

One bright spot for Anderson was a single by McGlothlin in the fourth inning.

Seth Baugh was the winning pitcher for Lapel Bulldogs Varsity. He went three innings, allowing zero runs on zero hits, striking out nine and walking one. Davis threw two innings in relief out of the bullpen.

Pratt started the game for Anderson. He allowed four hits and five runs over one inning, striking out one and walking one. Brooks threw three innings in relief.
