Lapel Bulldogs Varsity fell behind early and couldn’t come back in an 11-1 loss to Yorktown on Friday. Yorktown scored on a error in the first inning, a walk by Furnish in the first inning, a walk by Smedley in the first inning, a fielder’s choice by Hook in the second inning, a fielder’s choice by Furnish in the second inning, and a single by Smedley in the second inning.
The Lapel Bulldogs Varsity struggled to contain the high-powered offense of Yorktown, giving up 11 runs.
Yorktown got things started in the first inning. An error scored one run for Yorktown.
